Valpolicella
Valpolicella Doc is produced within the foothills of the Veronese province, between the gentle slopes of the Lessini and the Verona plain, which extends like a fan from the Adige river to the hilly reliefs of Soave. It is a young wine, with a ruby red color and a moderate alcohol content. Its scent recalls floral essences, bitter almond, morello cherry, black cherry and spices while on the palate it expresses a full and velvety flavour. It can have the specification "Classico" only if produced within the area of the municipalities of Sant'Ambrogio, San Pietro in Cariano, Fumane, Marano and Negrar. Ideal serving temperature: 16° centigrade. We recommend drinking it the year following its production. Food pairing: roast rabbit, grilled fillet, pork chop.
