Valpolicella

Valpolicella Doc is produced within the foothills of the Veronese province, between the gentle slopes of the Lessini and the Verona plain, which extends like a fan from the Adige river to the hilly reliefs of Soave. It is a young wine, with a ruby ​​red color and a moderate alcohol content. Its scent recalls floral essences, bitter almond, morello cherry, black cherry and spices while on the palate it expresses a full and velvety flavour. It can have the specification "Classico" only if produced within the area of ​​the municipalities of Sant'Ambrogio, San Pietro in Cariano, Fumane, Marano and Negrar. Ideal serving temperature: 16° ​​centigrade. We recommend drinking it the year following its production. Food pairing: roast rabbit, grilled fillet, pork chop.
