Rosso di Montalcino is the youngest and most immediate expression of Sangiovese grosso grown in the Montalcino area, in Tuscany. Considered the "little brother" of Brunello, this wine shares the same grape variety and terroir, but stands out for its fresher, more direct and ready-to-drink style.
With a bright ruby red color, it releases aromas of red fruits, cherry, violet, light spices and balsamic hints on the nose. In the mouth it is elegant, balanced and well-structured, with delicate tannins and a nice freshness that facilitates gastronomic pairing.
Perfect with Tuscan first courses, roast meats, cured meats and not too mature cheeses, Rosso di Montalcino is a wine that combines quality and versatility, offering an authentic taste of the territory in a more accessible and everyday version.
