Barolo is considered the "king of Italian wines", an austere, noble and deep red, produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes in the hills of the Langhe in Piedmont. After a long refinement, it presents itself with a garnet red color with orange reflections and intense aromas of dried rose, leather, licorice, truffle and spices.
On the palate it is structured, complex and powerful, with firm but elegant tannins and an extraordinary persistence. It is a meditation wine, but it gives its best with rich and important dishes: braised meats, game, aged cheeses and traditional Piedmontese cuisine.
Barolo is much more than a wine: it is a sensory experience that tells history, territory and passion in every sip.
