Mas dei Chini

The Mas dei Chini winery is a small agricultural enterprise that stretches across the hills north and west of Trento. Its story is that of the Chini family and their journey in Trentino viticulture, which began at the start of the 20th century, precisely in 1906, in Segno, a small village in the Val di Non. The heart of the winemaking activity is the 19th-century Maso—or Mas—that stands on the Nassi hill of Cadino in Trento, overlooking it with its 5 hectares of land cultivated with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Gewürztraminer. From this very Maso come the grapes vinified by Graziano Chini, and here, deep within the hill, his Trento Doc wines mature and rest.
