After the marriage in the 1950s between Miss Ducos and Monsieur Didier, Champagne Didier-Ducos was born in Saint Martin d’Ablois. The first bottles produced were sold mainly to family and friends, but the winery flourished and expanded with the arrival of their son Christophe and his wife Dominique in the 1980s. After studying oenology at the Avize school, in 2001 the estate passed into the young hands of Nicolas, who truly elevated the maison through a thoughtful yet more innovative approach to viticulture. Today, the cuvées offered on the market reflect the tradition and know-how passed down through three generations of Vignerons. The vineyards, cultivated mainly in the terroirs of Vinay and Saint Martin on the southern hills of Épernay, make it possible to produce both blended and single-varietal Champagnes worthy of great vintages, all certified under VDC (Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne) and HVE (High Environmental Value) standards.
