Gentili

The Gentili winery was founded in 1979 by Carlo Gentili, who, with limited funds but great tenacity, gradually built a winery within a 15th-century courtyard and planted vineyards on the surrounding land, nestled between Monte Baldo and Lake Garda. For thirty years, the company's entire production was sold in bulk to other wineries, but since 2010, under the direction of his children Enrico and Elisa, the company has embarked on a journey to enhance the winery's viticultural and oenological potential through the revival of ancient local grape varieties and traditional cultivation methods. Although the company has not yet sought organic certification, it believes that all agricultural production should respect nature and the health of the consumer. For this reason, for many years it has been working to reduce and sometimes eliminate harmful practices, instead focusing on good traditional practices that allow for the revival of an agricultural system rich in biodiversity and respect for the soil, plants, water resources, and human labor.
