Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo is one of the noblest and most long-lived red grape varieties in Italy, the basis of some of the most prestigious wines in the world such as Barolo and Barbaresco. Grown mainly in Piedmont, it takes its name from the “mists” that envelop the hills during the autumn harvest.

It has a pale garnet red color that evolves towards orange with aging. On the nose it is extraordinarily complex: aromas of withered rose, violet, red fruits, spices, leather and undergrowth. On the palate it is austere, elegant and structured, with strong tannins, a lively acidity and a long and refined persistence.

Perfect for important dishes such as braised meats, game, truffle risotto and mature cheeses, Nebbiolo is a wine that conquers over time, giving deep emotions with every sip.
