Dolcetto is a typical red wine from Piedmont, particularly appreciated for its immediacy, soft taste and pleasantly fruity character. Despite its name, it is not a sweet wine: “Dolcetto” refers to the sweetness of the grape, but the wine is dry and often lively in its youth.
With an intense ruby red color with purple reflections, it releases aromas of cherry, blackberry, plum and almond, accompanied by light floral notes. In the mouth it is soft, round and with gentle tannins, perfect to drink young to appreciate all its freshness.
Ideal to accompany first courses, cured meats, white meats and medium-aged cheeses, Dolcetto is the everyday wine par excellence: genuine, versatile and deeply linked to the land from which it comes.
