Chianti Classico - Riserva - Pomona
The Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva by Pomona is born in the heart of the Gallo Nero territory, between Greve in Chianti and Panzano, from a small certified organic family estate that has chosen to work the land with respect and patience, placing quality above quantity at every stage of production.
Pomona farms its vineyards according to certified organic principles — no pesticides, no herbicides — allowing the galestro and alberese soils typical of the Chianti Classico zone to express their full natural vocation for Sangiovese. The Riserva undergoes a longer ageing period than the base version, with a minimum of 24 months between oak and bottle, developing the structure, complexity and aromatic depth that define the great Tuscan Riservas.
On the nose it is elegant and inviting: fresh and preserved cherry, violet, sweet tobacco, warm spice and a characteristic hint of leather and Tuscan earth. On the palate it is balanced and well-structured, with the fine silky tannins typical of high-quality Sangiovese, a vibrant acidity that guarantees longevity and a long, persistent finish with notes of red fruit and spice. A Chianti Classico Riserva that speaks honestly of its territory without stylistic compromise.
