Amarone della Valpolicella - Leòn - Ilatium

Leon di Ilatium Amarone represents the contemporary vision of this great wine from Verona: respectful of tradition, but with a more accessible and immediate style without sacrificing complexity. It is the first Amarone in the Ilatium range - the one that introduces you to this winery's world of great appassimento wines, before taking on the even greater depth of Due Mori.

Made with Corvina and Corvinone grapes from selected vineyards, the wine ferments slowly and matures in barriques to impart spicy and vanilla notes that integrate perfectly with the fruit. On the nose, ripe cherry, dried plum, vanilla, and cloves emerge. On the palate, it is warm and enveloping, with soft tannins and a persistent finish of cocoa and mint. Perfect as a valuable gift or for celebrating important moments.
