On the nose, it is elegant and complex - ripe red bell pepper, redcurrant, violet, aromatic herbs (thyme, sage), graphite, and an underlying ferrous minerality. On the palate, it is lean and fresh, with fine, almost imperceptible tannins and acidity that makes it easy to drink despite its complexity.
