L’amore dei Sobrero per Castiglione è viscerale ed è dovuto principalmente a due ragioni: la prima, sicuramente affettiva, sta nel fatto che i loro antenati risiedono in questo borgo medievale ormai da diversi secoli. La seconda, forse ancor più importante, sta nel fatto che il territorio di questo comune si trova nel cuore della zona di produzione del Barolo e questo permette di ritrovare nel vino prodotto qui tutte le migliori caratteristiche dei comuni circostanti.
