Cavedini's Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG comes from the same family and the same production philosophy as the Recioto della Valpolicella - together, the two wines tell the complete story of Valpolicella through its two oldest souls: sweet and dry, Recioto and Amarone, two faces of the same thousand-year-old tradition.

Cavedini is a family estate deeply rooted in the Valpolicella region, with the depth of roots that can be built only over generations. During this process, the wine absorbs residual sugars, polyphenols, additional tannins, and aromatic concentration from the pomace, profoundly transforming it - from a fresh, light Valpolicella into a structured, enveloping Ripasso, with a complexity approaching that of the great Amarone without reaching its concentrated power.

The wine is aged in oak barrels for the time needed to integrate its acquired structure with the varietal freshness of the original Valpolicella - a delicate balance that requires experience and sensitivity.
