Contrada Palui
Contrada Palui is a small organic winery founded by Hannes Pichler, a South Tyrolean who moved to the Valpolicella, on a hilltop at 500 metres altitude between Trezzolano and Grezzana — the highest elevation in the entire DOC. Three hectares planted on untouched natural meadows, with unique soils of white limestone, black basalt and flint. Spontaneous fermentations, ageing in red clay amphorae, wood and steel. One of the most innovative and internationally acclaimed wineries in the Valpolicella — 90+ Falstaff, 94 Wine Enthusiast, Gambero Rosso Vini d'Italia 2025.
